Clean TeQ
BioGT

Bacterial Augmentation System
for Waste Water Treatment

Technology

Clean TeQ specializes in innovative solutions for pollution control and the BioGT System provides a cost-effective system for wastewater processes. The BioGT system uses the well established principles of microbiological degradation to provide a bioremediation system that is both cost-effective and reliable.
The BioGT System uses a controlled dosing system to provide both stabilised and actively respiring bacteria to a particular application.

Materials of Construction

All materials areof plastic construction to minimise corrosion.

Applications

The BioGT has many useful applications in the area of wastewater processing. The system uses only bacteria that are classified as Class 1 by the ATCC (American Type Culture Collection). The bacteria are:

  • Naturally occurring
  • Non-pathogenic
  • Non-opportunistic
The bacteria in the various systems include:
  • Arthrobacter sp
  • Norcardia sp
  • Mycobacterium sp
  • Bacillus sp
  • Bacillus subtilis
  • Bacillus megaterium
  • Bacillus licheniformus
Applications include:
  • Restaurants / Domestic

  • greasetraps, drain lines, septic tanks, odour
  • Industrial

  • food processing, chemical processing, reduction of organic effluents, reduction of grease and hydrocarbons
  • Municipal Wastewater

  • sewer pumping stations, municipal wastewater treatment facilities-primary holding tanks, aeration basins, anaerobic digesters.
  • Bioremediation of Hydrocarbon

  • Solvents in-situ groundwater and soil, ex-situ groundwater and soil, emergency response
  • Microbial Enhanced Recovery

  • Systems oil, gold, copper, platinum
  • Other including

  • boat bilge, insecticides, aquaculture, agriculture (dairy waste lagoons)

BioGT System

The BioGT System is designed in a modular form and is supplied with the injection control system. Auxiliary equipment required for dosing of activated bacteria include aerator and temperature control. A variable speed option is available where large flow fluctuations are common.
